Red Heart Super Saver Cherry Red and White
Square (make 11):
With white, ch 4, join in 1st ch to form a circle.
Rnd 1: ch 3 (ch 3 counts as a dc), 2 dc in ring, *ch 2, 3 dc in ring, rep from * twice more. ch 2, join to beg ch 3.
Rnd 2: ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, *(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 2 space, dc in next 3 dc, rep from * twice more. (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 2 space, join to ch 3. Cut white.
Rnd 3: Join red with a slipstitch in any ch 2 space. ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same space, *dc in next 7 dc, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 2 space, rep from * twice more. dc in next 7 dc, join to ch 3.
Rnd 4: Slipstitch to ch 2 space, ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same space, *dc in next 11 dc, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 2 space, rep from * twice more. dc in next 11 dc, join to ch 3.
Finish off and weave in ends.
Make 11 squares and sew or crochet them together. You can do whatever color combinations you want to come up with different looks.

Zipper Scarf

Red Heart Super Saver Cherry Red and White
Note: Scarf is worked lengthwise
With Red, ch 176
Row 1: hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across (175 hdc)
Row 2: ch 1, turn. sc in each hdc across, changing to white in last sc
Row 3: ch 3, turn. (ch 3 counts as a dc from now on), FPtrc around 2nd hdc on Row 1, dc in next hdc, FPtrc around hdc below on Row 1, dc in next hdc - continued across working FPtrc around hdc's (below them in Row 1) and then a dc in next hdc, changing to Red in last dc
Row 4: ch 1, turn. sc in each st across
Row 5: ch 2, turn. hdc in each sc across
Row 6: ch 1, turn. sc in each hdc across
Row 7: ch 2, turn. hdc in each sc across
Row 8: ch 1, turn. sc in each hdc across, changing to White in last sc.
Row 9: Rep Row 3
Row 10: ch 1, turn. sc in each st across
Row 11: ch 2, turn. hdc in each sc across
Work a round of sc around entire scarf for edging.
Finish off and weave in ends

Row 2: ch 1, turn. (sc, dc) in first sc, skip next sc, *(sc, de) in next sc, skip next sc, rep from * across, sc in last sc. (8 (sc,dc) groups + last sc)
Rows 3-9: Rep Row 2, changing to Red in last sc at end of Row 9
Row 10: ch 1, turn. sc in each st across
Row 11: Rep Row 10, changing to white in last sc
Rows 12-19: Rep Row 2, changing to Red in last sc of Row 19
Rep in pattern of 2 Rows in Red and 8 Rows in White for a total of 15 White sections and 14 Red sections
At very end of last white section, I worked a row of sc in each stitch.
Finish off and weave in ends.
