Red Heart Super Saver Cherry Red and White

Note: Scarf is worked lengthwise

With Red, ch 176

Row 1: hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across (175 hdc)

Row 2: ch 1, turn. sc in each hdc across, changing to white in last sc

Row 3: ch 3, turn. (ch 3 counts as a dc from now on), FPtrc around 2nd hdc on Row 1, dc in next hdc, FPtrc around hdc below on Row 1, dc in next hdc - continued across working FPtrc around hdc's (below them in Row 1) and then a dc in next hdc, changing to Red in last dc

Row 4: ch 1, turn. sc in each st across

Row 5: ch 2, turn. hdc in each sc across

Row 6: ch 1, turn. sc in each hdc across

Row 7: ch 2, turn. hdc in each sc across

Row 8: ch 1, turn. sc in each hdc across, changing to White in last sc.

Row 9: Rep Row 3

Row 10: ch 1, turn. sc in each st across

Row 11: ch 2, turn. hdc in each sc across

Work a round of sc around entire scarf for edging.

Finish off and weave in ends

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (18 sc)

Row 2: ch 1, turn. (sc, dc) in first sc, skip next sc, *(sc, de) in next sc, skip next sc, rep from * across, sc in last sc. (8 (sc,dc) groups + last sc)

Rows 3-9: Rep Row 2, changing to Red in last sc at end of Row 9

Row 10: ch 1, turn. sc in each st across

Row 11: Rep Row 10, changing to white in last sc

Rows 12-19: Rep Row 2, changing to Red in last sc of Row 19

Rep in pattern of 2 Rows in Red and 8 Rows in White for a total of 15 White sections and 14 Red sections

At very end of last white section, I worked a row of sc in each stitch.

Finish off and weave in ends.

Easy Stripes Scarf

tr (treble crochet): yarn over twice, insert hook in stitch indicated, yarn over and pull up a loop, (yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook)3 times

With red, ch 177

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, changing to white in last sc.

Row 2: ch 3, tr in each sc across, changing to red in last tr.

Row 3: ch 1, sc in each tr across, changing to white in last sc.

Row 4: ch 3, tr in each sc across, changing to red in last tr.

Row 5: ch 1, sc in each tr across, changing to white in last sc.

Row 6: ch 3, tr in each sc across, changing to red in last tr.

Waves Scarf

Red Heart Super Saver Cherry Red and White

Size: approx. 5" X 55"
Note: This scarf is worked lengthwise.

With Red, ch 174.

Row 1 (Right Side): sc in second ch from hook and in next 2 chs, *hdc in next ch, dc in next 5 chs, hdc in next ch, sc in next 3 chs, repeat from * across.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in front loop only of each st across.  Cut red.

Row 3: With right side facing and working in back loops only, join white with a slip stitch in the first sc, ch 4 (counts as first tr), tr in next 2 sc, *dc in next sc, hdc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, hdc in next sc, dc in next sc, tr in next 3 sc, repeat from * across.

Row 4: Ch 1, turn, sc in front loop only of each st across.  Cut white.

Row 5: With right side facing and working in back loops only, join red with a sc in the first sc, sc in next 2 sc, *hdc in next sc, dc in next sc, tr in next 3 sc, dc in next sc, hdc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, repeat from * across.

Row 6: Rep Row 2.  Cut red.

Row 7: Rep Row 3.

Row 8: Rep Row 2.  Cut white.

Row 9: Rep Row 5.

Row 10: Rep Row 2.  Cut red.

Finish off and weave in ends.

Nancy's Easy Knit Scarf

This pattern was designed by Nancy (NazyPazy on Ravelry) especially for this project. Thank-You Nancy!

Cast on 20 stitches with Cherry Red (A) on #7 or #8 needles.

Row 1: K across with Color A

Row 2: P across with Color A

Row 3: Join Color B (white) and P across
Row 4: With Color B, K across.

Repeat these 4 rows (change colors as written) and you end up with a stripy alternating purl ridge scarf.

Curly Q Scarf

H hook
approx. 5"X55" I used an H hook, but I crochet loosely, you might want to use and I hook

special stitches:
Curly Q: ch 16, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (45 sc)

Tab: ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook

Note: scarf is worked lengthwise

Row 1 (right side): Ch 16, 3sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (1st curly Q made)
Ch 145 + 16
3 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 14 ch (2nd curly Q made)
For main body of scarf:
sl st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same ch as sl st and in next 144 ch.
sl in next sc (1st sc of 1st Curly Q)
Fasten off red

Row 2 (wrong side): Turn.  Join white in 1st sc of main body of scarf.  Ch 2 (counts as 1st hdc), hdc in next 144 sc across (145 hdc)

Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each hdc across (145 sc)  Fasten off white. 
DO NOT TURN

Row 4: On same side (right side) With red, work curly Q, join with a sl st to scarf in 1st white sc of Row 3.  Ch 1, sc in the same stitch and next 3 sc, *(ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook) Tab Made, sc in next 4 sc, rep from * across, sc in last sc.

Rep Rows 2-4 (3 times) Pusing red tabs to right side of scarf.  Work last row 4 in just sc (no tabs). 

Finish off and weave in ends.
